Webster uses one balance — Webster Credits — for metered usage, plus plan limits on what you can publish. Credits are a usage meter — not the product.
1 Credit = €0.01. Usage may consume fractional Credits.

Static hosting is included on every plan. When the balance hits 0, new AI, images, and metered database/compute pause; published static sites and preview, publish, and the connector proxy stay available.

On Starter and Max, the price on Pricing updates when you pick a larger monthly Webster Credits package (plan + add-on).

Webster Credits
Credits come from your subscription (and optional monthly credit packages at checkout) plus one-time top-ups in Account. Team projects draw from the workspace owner’s balance.
When Credits reach zero, metered AI and dynamic features pause until you top up or upgrade — static published sites stay up. Preview, publish, and the connector proxy remain available.

When to top up vs upgrade
- Need more usage this month → top-up (Account)
- Regularly burn through included credits → monthly credit package on Pricing / checkout
- Need more published projects or features → plan upgrade
Webster Cloud
Starter and Max include Webster Cloud: database, auth, backend, and connectors — without juggling separate product lines for each.
Credit expiry
Included Credits expire at the end of the billing period. Unused included Credits do not roll to the next month.
Top-up Credits last 12 months (365 days) from purchase and survive renewals. Webster uses Credits that expire soonest first — included Credits, then Top-up Credits.

Demo billing
In local / demo mode, Stripe checkouts complete via a mock flow (no live charges). Plan flips and credit grants still update your wallet.
Cancel subscription
Canceling stops renewal at period end by default. Published sites typically stay up until the period ends unless you unpublish. Leftover purchased Top-up Credits remain on the account until they expire (12 months from purchase); leftover included Credits expire at period end. After the paid period ends, using remaining Top-up Credits for AI and other metered usage requires an active paid plan.
Free plan
Free workspaces get one free builder message to try Webster — not a monthly Credit grant. Limits appear on Account (/app/account).
